Kelvin Burt
Kelvin Burt ( born September 7, 1967 in Birmingham ) is a British racing driver.
Career
After Burt had the " Jim Russell Racing Drivers ' School ", completed in 1987, he took in 1988 at the British Formula Ford Junior 1600 part. In 1989 he was runner-up in this series. In 1990 he moved to the British Formula Vauxhall, where he finished the season in sixth place. Next year he was champion in Formula Vauxhall.
In 1994, he was a test driver in Formula 1 Team Sasol Jordan. Besides, he drove a few races in the British Touring Car Championship and the Porsche Supercup. From 1995 to 1998 he drove in the British Touring Car Championship, but where he was able to record any significant success. In 1996, he was also a test driver for Formula 1 team Ligier Gauloises Blondes.
In 1999 he took part in the Japanese Touring Car Championship, where he finished the season in fifth place. In 2000 he drove a few races in the Swedish Touring Car Championship. In 2001 he took part in the British GT Championship, where he became a master in the GTO class. He also drove ever a race in the Porsche Supercup and in the American Le Mans Series. In 2002 he took part in the Days- of- Thunder racing series, which he finished second. He also drove a race in the FIA GT Championship. In 2003 he drove in the FIA GT Championship and finished the season as the 25th 2006 saw him again a few races in the Porsche Supercup.
