Ken Anderson (animator)

Kenneth " Ken " Bliss Anderson (* March 17, 1909, † December 13, 1993 in La Cañada Flintridge, California ) was an American screenwriter and animator.

Work

He made his first film work in the short film The Rape of the goddess of spring as a layout artist in 1934. Later he worked for the Walt Disney Company as a screenwriter and especially in the area of the story. There he was involved in major box office successes such as The Jungle Book (1967 ), The Aristocats (1970) Robin Hood (1973 ) and the first full-length Disney movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs ( 1937) with.

In 1982 he was sausgezeichnet with the Winsor McCay Award from the Annie Awards.

Anderson was married and the father of three daughters.
