Ken Bartholomew

Kenneth " Ken " Eldred Bartholomew ( born February 10, 1920 in Leonard, North Dakota; † 9 October 2012 in Minnesota) was an American speed skater who in the race over 500 meters at the Olympic Winter Games in 1948 in St. Moritz the silver medal won. He was 14-time U.S. champion, where he won those titles between 1945 and 1960 and three-time North American champion. He started for the Lawrence Wennell Powderhorn Skating Club.
