Ken Casey

Ken Casey (born 31 December 1969) is the bassist and singer of the Irish- American band Dropkick Murphys.

In 1996 he founded together with Rick Barton and Mike McColgan, the band, and today is the last active founding member of the band. He is known for his melodic vocals and his punk rock -oriented bass playing.

Casey lived a long time in Hingham, Massachusetts, until he eventually moved in the same state with his family to Milton.

The Dropkick Murphys song Boys On The Docks is Caseys grandfather John Kelly dedicated a union worker in the middle of the twentieth century. Casey is the owner of McGreevy 's Third Base Saloon, a bar in the Back Bay of Boston, close to Fenway Park. This is dedicated to " Nuf Ced " Michael T. McGreevy, founder of the Royal Rooters, a former fan club of the Boston Red Sox.
