Ken Klee

Ken Klee ( born April 24, 1971 in Indianapolis, Indiana ) is a retired American professional ice hockey player who is 1995-2009 for the Washington Capitals, Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Avalanche, Atlanta Thrashers, Anaheim Ducks and Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League played.

Career

Klee was selected during the NHL Entry Draft in 1990 as a total 177 players from the Washington Capitals, where he spent most of his career. However, it took until the 1994/95 season until he was allowed for the Capitals on the ice. Until then, he played for the Bowling Green State University in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association, which he joined in 1989 as a 18- year-old, and for the Baltimore Skipjacks and Portland Pirates in the American Hockey League. Overall, Klee was nine years for the Capitals in the NHL on the ice and was able to achieve with his team to the playoffs, before joining as a free agent with the Toronto Maple Leafs on 27 September 2003 six times.

Although he missed 16 games in his first season with the Maple Leafs, Klee was able to record with four goals and 25 assists personal bests on the offensive. On March 8, 2006, which is only one day before the end of the trading deadline in the NHL, the defender was issued in exchange for Alexander Suglobow to the New Jersey Devils. In July of the same year Klee signed with the Colorado Avalanche as a contract -less players. A year later he also went as a free agent with the Atlanta Thrashers, having previously aground for Colorado in 81 of the possible 82 main round matches, which meant a personal record for clover.

On September 26, 2008 Clover moved together with his teammates Brad Larsen and Chad Painchaud in exchange for Mathieu Schneider to the Anaheim Ducks. After three games, they put him on the waiver list, from where it chose the Phoenix Coyotes. For the Coyotes, he completed 68 games in the NHL and collected eleven points. At season's end, he ended his active career.
