Ken Kramer

Kenneth Bentley " Ken " Kramer ( born February 19, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American politician. Between 1979 and 1987 he represented the fifth electoral district of the state of Colorado in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Ken Kramer attended until 1959 Miles Township High School in Skokie. Then he studied until 1963 at the University of Illinois before after studying law at Harvard University, he completed his training in 1966. Then he began to work as a lawyer. Between 1967 and 1970, Kramer was a soldier in the U.S. Army. Between 1970 and 1972 he served as deputy district attorney for the fourth judicial district of Colorado. Kramer is a member of the Republican Party and was from 1973 to 1978 deputy in the House of Representatives from Colorado. Between 1974 and 1986 he was also a delegate to the regional party days of the Republicans in Colorado.

1978 Kramer was in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of William L. Armstrong on January 3, 1979. After three re- elections, he was able to complete in Congress until January 3 January 3, 1987 a total of four legislative sessions. In 1986 he gave up another candidacy. Instead, he applied unsuccessfully for a place in the U.S. Senate. Between 1988 and 1989, Kramer worked for the Budget Department of the Army Ministry. He was an Associate Justice on the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Affairs in 1989 and between 2000 and 2004 he was chief judge of this court. Kenneth Kramer now lives in Arlington.
