Ken Wiesner

Ken Wiesner (actually Kenneth George Wiesner, born February 17, 1925 in Milwaukee ) is a retired American high jumper.

As a student at Marquette University, he won from 1944 to 1946 three times in a row at the NCAA Championship. In 1945 he became a U.S. indoor champion.

After five years of sporting break, he won the silver medal with 2.01 meters at the 1952 Olympics in Helsinki. Early 1953, he improved the world record hall on March 14 in Milwaukee to 2.08 m and on 28 March in Chicago on 2.10 m.
