Kennedy Center Honors

The Kennedy Prize ( The Kennedy Center Honors ) has been awarded since 1977 by the Washington John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts annually to five performing artists for their life's work.

The ceremony includes several ceremonies: a lunch on Saturday evening reception and dinner at the U.S. State Department; on Sunday afternoon reception at the White House with awarding medals to the band, followed by the Gala on Sunday evening. The honorees follow the performances from the Presidential box.
