Kennedy Winston

Kennedy Winston ( born July 29, 1984 in Prichard, Alabama, United States ) is an American professional basketball player who plays at a height of 2.00 m on the position of small forward.

Winston began his basketball career at the University of Alabama where he was top scorer of his team for two season and 2005 Points Table of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) led with an average of 17.9 points per game. 2004 and 2005 respectively Winston was elected to the All- SEC first team and led his team in both years in the play-offs of the NCAA Championship.

After Winston was tested by the Memphis Grizzlies in the preseason in the summer of 2005, but received no contract, he moved to Europe and played for one season at Spanish side CB Gran Canaria. After another season in Greece at Panionios Athens Winston, 2007, wrote to the Greek top club Panathinaikos Athens and moved along with his teammates Efstratios Perperoglou as acting ULEB Euro League champions, where he could reach the double. After half a year in Turkey, he moved in February 2009 to Real Madrid.
