Kenneth Cranham

Kenneth Cranham ( born December 12, 1944 in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland) is a British- Scottish film and stage actor.

Short Biography

The son of Ronald and Margaret McKay Cranham stands as an actor on stage and in front of the camera since the mid- 1960s. He received his first known film role in the 1968 film adaptation produced by director Oliver Carol Reed. Four years later, in 1972, he stood in the history of film Brother Sun, Sister Moon by Franco Zeffirelli in front of the camera - another film with which Cranham was better known in the German speaking countries.

Today Cranham is one of the most sought after actors when it comes to occupy predominantly strong supporting roles. So he stood in 2005 in eight episodes of the television series Rome as the Romans Pompey front of the camera, the same year as Uncle Henry in A Good Year, in 2007, in Hot Fuzz as well as Captain Turner in The Sinking of the Lusitania - Tragedy of a luxury Liners and 2008 in operation Walküre - The Stauffenberg assassination as a German field Marshal Wilhelm Keitel.

Kenneth Cranham is married to his second marriage to actress Fiona Victory. From a relationship with the actress Charlotte Cornwell comes his only child, daughter Nancy.

He now lives in London.
