Kenneth Perez
Kenneth Perez ( born August 29, 1974 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish football player who also has a Spanish passport. The former attacking midfielder has since 30 June 2011 to co- coach of Michel Kreek, at Ajax A1.
His mother comes from the Spanish island of Gran Canaria.
Career
Association
Perez began his professional career in 1993 AB Copenhagen. In 1995 he moved to league competition FC Copenhagen, with whom he was able to land the 1997 Turner Cup rings, the Danish Cup win. After this success, the striker moved to Dutch club MVV Maastricht.
At that time promoted Perez remained for two years before to AZ Alkmaar he. There he developed into a major service providers and posted to the summer of 2006 in 178 games 60 goals. Finally he joined in 2006/ 07 to the Dutch top club Ajax Amsterdam. Among his greatest successes with the AZ collection belongs to the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup in 2005. During the same year, the third rank in the league was achieved. Until then, the best result since 1983.
With Ajax, the Dane was only one year. Although twelve gates, achieving in 27 games, the attacker moved to PSV Eindhoven. Even last year he won with Ajax against his new employer in the final of the Johan Cruyff Schaal.
On 2 December 2006, in the match against Twente Enschede locked because of racist insult against the dark-skinned linesman Nicky Siebert on 9 November 2006 for five games Kenneth Perez from the Dutch Football Association KNVB. Plus Perez had to pay to the Association a fine of 12,500 euros.
After only five months, Perez decided to play for Ajax again and he transferred into the winter break 2007/ 08 back to Amsterdam. Both Fanlager criticized this step and this change brought great discussions about Perez ' person. In summer 2008, new coach Marco van Basten degraded him in the Ajax reserve squad.
Before the end of the summer transfer window Perez moved to Twente Enschede. With Twente he immediately became vice-champion and cup winner. He added immediately as a performer in the team one. For season 2009/10, the club managed to win the Eredivisie. It was the first title in club history.
At season's end Perez announced his departure from Enschede. In September 2010, he moved into top class to Amsterdamsche FC, where he ended his active career in June 2011.
National
In November 2003, Perez was under Morten Olsen made his debut in the dress of the Danish national team. In the 3-2 win over England, he came in to replace Dennis Rommedahl. In the summer of 2004, he was nominated for the European Championship, in which he played a game.
Coaching career
After his career end Perez July 30, 2011 was appointed assistant coach of Michel Kreek, at Ajax A1.
