Kenny Perry

James Kenneth "Kenny" Perry ( born August 10, 1960 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky ) is an American professional golfer who plays mainly on the Champions Tour.

Career

After attending Western Kentucky University In 1982 he became professional golfers in the year. For the PGA TOUR Perry qualified in 1987, and after some initial difficulties, he won his first tournament in 1991, the prestigious Memorial Tournament. There were other victories mid-1990s, one in 2001 and 2003 - now 43 years old - he had his best season with three titles to their name. Perry came briefly under the top 10 World Golf Rankings ago, and after two wins in 2005 exceeded Perry 2006 Career prize money of $ 20 million. In June 2009, he crossed the mark of $ 30 million.

Since 2011 he predominantly plays on the Champions Tour professional golfer for over 50 years and won the 2013 Charles Schwab Cup points standings ( according to the FedEx Cup on the PGA Tour ) that tournament series.

He played four times in the U.S. team at the Presidents Cup and twice in the Ryder Cup.

Kenny Perry is married to his wife Sandy, has three children and is a deacon of the Churches of Christ in his hometown of Franklin, Kentucky.
