Kent State University

The Kent State University ( also known as Kent State or KSU ) is a public university in Kent, Ohio. With 34 491 students, it is according to the Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati is the third largest university in Ohio. In addition to the main campus in Kent, there are other locations in Ashtabula, East Liverpool, Geauga, Salem, Stark, Trumbull and Tuscarawas. The college was founded in 1910.

On May 4, 1970 four students were killed in the Kent State massacre in hail of bullets of the National Guard, which had been called in to end the four -day protest against the U.S. invasion of Cambodia.
