Kenwood Appliances Plc. is a manufacturer of small kitchen appliances for your personal use. Kenwood was known by the first kitchen machine concept, which is the main sales of the company today.
History
Kenneth Wood founded in 1947 in Surrey, the Kenwood Manufacturing Company. The first products were a toaster and a blender, which sold very well. The big success came three years later, when Wood has developed a new kitchen machine system. The new machine was named " Kenwood Chef " and was sold with numerous accessories and attachments. Soon a great success was established. With steady growth the company grew and in 1962 moved the site to Havant near Portsmouth in the north of England. 1974 Kenwood was the first manufacturer of kitchen appliances whose speed could be controlled. Kenwood acquired in 1993 the English company Waymaster, a specialist in water filters and scales, and the Italian electrical appliances company Ariete 1994. Was one of the first companies Kenwood produced from 1994 in Asia and invested in a local production site. The company is merged from 2001 with De'Longhi.
Today Kenwood Food Processors are among the best selling in the world, especially in high price segment. Kenwood titled itself as a modern and dynamic company and is proud of its ancient British origin.
Kenwood's products have been awarded for their design, among others, by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein-Westfalen.
Kenwood is represented in over 100 countries and is one of the leading European brands for small electrical appliances.

Food Processors
The current flagship of the company is the " Kenwood Cooking Chef " with an induction- heated mixing bowl. It operates essays with three different external drives in the speeds slow, medium, fast and quick. The duration of the agitation can be preset using a timer, the temperature of the induction plate can be accurately controlled to 5 Kelvin. The series " kMix " is aimed at design-conscious customers, combining function and design.
