Kenya at the 1956 Summer Olympics

Kenya participated in the Olympic Summer Games 1956 in Melbourne, Australia part of a delegation of 25 athletes (24 men and one woman ) to ten competitions in four sports. There were no medals to be won. The youngest athlete was the Athlete Bartonjo Rotich (18 years and 188 days), the oldest athlete was the marksman Roy Congreve (43 years and 234 days). It was the first participation of the country in the Olympic Summer Games.
