Keresztéte

Keresztéte is a town in Borsod -Abaúj -Zemplén

Geographical Location

Keresztéte is located in north -eastern Hungary, near the Slovakian border. Miskolc is 65 km from the nearest town Encs 30 km from Keresztéte.

Economy

Keresztéte is dominated by agriculture. Importantly, the growing of fruit ( apples) is to just 200 ha Like other villages in this part of Hungary but also Keresztéte of obsolescence and extinction.

Tourism and Attractions

The village is from Cserehát Rundwanderweg touches (red direction signs ). There are simple apartments in former farmhouses. The small Catholic church that served as a school house at the same time, is a feature of the village.
