Kerstin Hartmann

Kerstin Hartmann ( born June 14, 1988 in Ulm ) is a German rower.

Career

Kerstin Hartmann starts for the Ulm Danube Rowing Club. After she along with her rowing mate Katrin Reinert Vice Youth World Champion had grown in two coxless 2005, she succeeded in 2006 the big hit and she was back together with Reinert, youth world champion in pairs without coxswain at the U18 World Championships and World runner-up in the same boat genus in the U23 world Championships. In 2008, Hartmann paused to prepare for the Abitur, which you also existed. In 2009 she was once again to the world class to do, this time with her rowing partner Marlene Sinnig which starts for the Krefeld rowing club. Hartmann was in the spring of 2009 with their new rowing partner in the coxless pairs German champion and finished at the A World Championships in Poznan Poland the very good fourth place.

Kerstin Hartmann studied to July 2010, mathematics and biology to become a teacher at the University of Ulm. In preparation for the 2012 Olympic Games in London drew Kerstin Hartmann August 2010 after Dortmund. She trained there with the team of eight women in the local rowing Bundesleistungszentrum. On May 24, 2012 Hartmann won along with Marlene Sinnig qualifying regatta in Lucerne / Switzerland and could thus subsequently in the two without having to qualify for the Olympic rowing events in London.
