Kerteminde Municipality

Kerteminde municipality is a Danish municipality in the east of the island of Funen. It was created on 1 January 2007 as part of local government reform by combining the "old" Kerteminde commune with the existing communities and Langeskov Munkebo.

Kerteminde municipality has a total population of 23 787 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013 ) and an area of ​​205.80 km ². It is part of Syddanmark Region.
