The Keseberg near Ederbringhausen in Hesse Waldeck- Frankenberg is a mountain forest in the basement. Its Northeast summit ( ⊙ 51.1297222222228.8976388888889 ) is 431.2 m above sea level. NHN and its on maps usually labeled Keseberg West dome ( ⊙ 51.124258.8858333333333 ) about 430 m high.

Geography

Location

The Keseberg rises in the western part of the Natural Park basement Edersee in the southern municipality of Vöhl. Its highest point is located 2 km east of Ederbringhausen, the other side of the mountain in south-north direction passing Eder is located about 5 km north-west lies the nucleus of the city Frankenau and 1.3 km east of the village on the Lorfe district Altenlotheim.

Mountain height

Castles

On a northern foothills of the Kesebergs the ruins of Keseburg stands (about 385 m ) and on a southern spur above a brook, the castle Hessenstein (approx. 327 m ), today a hotel and conference center.

Transport and Hiking
