Kessai Note

Kessai Hesa Note ( born August 7, 1950 in Airok on the Ailinglaplap Atoll ) from 2000 to 2008, President of the Marshall Islands. He is a member of the United Democratic Party.

Note was first elected to office in 2000 by the Parliament of the Pacific state. In January 2004, he was confirmed by 20:9 votes against challenger Justin deBrum in his office. On 7 January 2008 Litokwa Tomeing was elected by Parliament as his successor.
