Kesslers Knigge is a comedy show directed by and starring Michael Kessler. The first broadcast of the first season took place from June to August 2009; more seasons are not produced.
Concept
In each episode Kessler shows in terms of etiquette in different situations and alerts in the form of negative examples in short clips of potential pitfalls. Each episode is divided into three general areas such as office, vacation or death divided, which are always initiated by the fact that Michael Kessler knowingly smiling progresses unnoticed by the people present, as it were, invisible to them, and with respect to its following incorrect behavior by the scenario and the topic and satirical comments from the off. This is accompanied, as well as the intro of an instrumental version of the song Just a word of band Wir sind Helden. Now, follow several lists that deal with specific situations of the subject, this would be the area over holidays, for example in the travel agency, on the beach. These are usually titled with " 10 things you should not do ... [ in the situation ] "; occasional variations were also already the case.
In ten only a few seconds short clips Kessler is now playing for various forms of misconduct, the degenerate in many cases to the bizarre and absurd.
Production
The episodes were filmed in just two months in the fall of 2008. In addition to Michael Kessler were involved, among other things Morten Kühne, Markus Barth, Stefan stucco man and Christoph Berger Trat on script-writing. Was directed by Markus Linhof January and Joseph Orr.
Success
While the TV broadcasts on Sat.1 only achieved a rate below the transmitter section, many of the clips on the Internet developed a hit and became known, inter alia, also thanks to a tweet by actor Ashton Kutcher abroad.
