Kevan Gosper

Kevan Gosper ( Richard Kevan Gosper, born December 19, 1933, Newcastle, New South Wales ) is a former Australian sprinter.

In the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in 1954 in Vancouver, he won gold over 440 yards and each bronze in the 4 x 110 and 4 x 440 yards relay.

In 1956 he reached the semi-finals at the Olympic Games in Melbourne over 400 m. In the 4 x 400 meters relay he won with the Australian team in the cast Leon Gregory, David Lean, Graham Gipson and Gosper the silver medal.

In the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in 1958 in Cardiff, he again won bronze in the 4 x 110 relay team at the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960, he retired about 400 m from the semi-finals.

From 1956 to 1960 he was five. Consecutive Australian Champion over 440 yards, 1957 over 220 yards

Since 1977 Kevan Gosper is a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
