Kevin Ashton

Kevin Ashton ( born 1968 in Birmingham, England ) is a British technology pioneer who (MIT) has created and co-founded an international standard for RFID and other sensors on the Auto-ID Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Life

Ashton is regarded as the inventor of the concept of the Internet of Things ( also English Internet of Things ), a system that ( things ) describes the relationship clearly identifiable physical objects with virtual representations in an Internet - like structure.
