Kevin Connor (director)

Kevin Connor (born 24 September 1937 London ) is a British director who became famous in the 1970s by Edgar Rice Burroughs adaptations.

Life

Kevin Connor grew up during the 2nd World War in London. After leaving school he found employment in the British film industry. In the 1960s he was responsible for the sound editor. In the 1970s to the 1980s he also worked as an editor. As such, Connor was for his employees on the film Oh! What a Lovely War 1970 for the BAFTA Award nomination for Best Editing in the category.

For the Amicus Productions in 1974 he presented his first film as a director here. When the film company stopped operating, he went to the USA. Since then he has been working there for television.

Kevin Connor is married and has one child.
