Kevin Faulk ( born June 5, 1976 in Lafayette, Louisiana) is an American professional American football player in the position of running backs. He currently plays for the New England Patriots in the National Football League. He won three Super Bowls with the team.

The former running back of the Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Rams, Marshall Faulk, is distantly related to Kevin.

Career

Faulk went on to Louisiana State University, where he was immediately the first running back. He holds several records, for example, with 8,833 yards and 53 touchdowns as a whole, which is the fifth highest in the NCAA.

When NFL Draft 1999, he was selected total in the second round by the New England Patriots as 46 players and could have 1,358 yards run in his first year in eleven games. In addition, he ran on 15 November 1999 back a kickoff for 95 yards. In the following two seasons, he has achieved a total of 1,909 and 1,075 once. In 2002 he was with 1,440 yards in total and an average of 27.9 yards per kick-off return second-best in the NFL. He also broke the record for most yards in returns in the career and was thus able to beat David Meggett, who scored 2,561 yards in his years at Patriots. At the end of the 2006 season, he could produce 276 caught passes in his career and now holds the record as the running back for the Patriots.
