Kevin Kern

Kevin Kern ( born December 22, 1958 as Kevin Lark Gibbs in Detroit ) is an American pianist, musician and composer of "New Age" music. He is one of the most famous representatives of the genre New Age.

Biography

At 18 months, Kevin Kern played "Silent Night" on the piano. At the age of four he received regular piano lessons. Her own compositions he wrote was eight years. In 1972 he first appeared with the music group "The Well-Tempered Clavichord " on. Although he is nearly blind, he was always determined to become a pianist.

2002 he had his first appearance in Taiwan. Since he is very popular in the Asian region, there is on his latest album exclusively in those countries with a bonus track.

His publications include eight albums ( including a compilation of albums) and two songbooks. His new album Endless Blue Sky is end of January 2009 appeared.

Kevin Kern is married to Pamela Gibbs. She helped him in the recordings of his albums and plays the rainstick on The Winding Path; Essentially, they mentioned in the acknowledgments in his later albums.
