Kevin Rankin (actor)

Kevin Rankin ( born April 18, 1976 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana ) is an American actor.

Life and career

Kevin Rankin grew up with his three older sisters until his eleventh year of life in Baton Rouge. Then the family moved to Houston in Texas, where he also completed high school.

Rankin's career began in 1997 in the movie The Apostle. From 2000, then followed by appearances in several television series, among other things, in Buffy - The Vampire Slayer, New York Cops - NYPD Blue and Philly. In 2002, he starred in eleven episodes of the series My Guide to Becoming a Rock Star. He had more, longer performances in American campus - Ripe for the university, Six Feet Under - Died is always, State of Mind, Bionic Woman and Friday Night Lights. In 2009 he landed the role of Tyler Briggs on the NBC series Trauma. The series, however, was canceled after one season with 18 episodes. In 2011, he was for five episodes as a guest in the series Big Love. Between the years 2010 and 2012, he starred in eight episodes of Justified. A major role he played in the 2011 and 2012 in the crime drama Unforgettable, but his character was restructuring after the first season to the victim.

2000 Rankin moved to Los Angeles, where he met his girlfriend. That he made when filming for the pilot episode of trauma on the set of a marriage proposal.
