Kevin Yoder

Kevin Wayne Yoder ( born January 8, 1976 in Hutchinson, Kansas) is an American politician. Since 2011 he represents the state of Kansas in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Kevin Yoder grew up on a farm near Hutchinson. He studied until 1999 at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, the subjects English and Political Science. After a subsequent law degree from the same university in 2002 and was admitted to his lawyer, he began to work in this profession. Politically, he joined the Republican Party. Between 2002 and 2010 he was a delegate in the House of Representatives from Kansas. There he directed the Appropriations Committee and the Legislative Committee on Budget. He also sat in the Judiciary Committee.

In the congressional elections of 2010, Yoder was in the third electoral district of Kansas in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of not more candidates Democrat Dennis Moore on January 3, 2011. In Congress, he is a member of the Appropriations Committee and three subcommittees.

In the congressional elections in 2012 Yoder had no rival candidates.
