Keyboard Cat is the title of a video and is known as an internet meme.

This is a video from 1984 with " Fatso ", a cat by Charlie Schmidt of Spokane, wearing a blue shirt and a catchy rhythm on an electronic keyboard "plays". In reality, his movements were directed by Schmidt. The video of Fatso was on YouTube under the title "charlie schmidt 's cool cats" published in June 2007. Schmidt later changed the title to " Charlie Schmidt 's Keyboard Cat (THE ORIGINAL) ". Fatso lived until 1987.

Use

Later, Brad O'Farrell obtained Schmidt's permission to re-use the images which they have been inserted at the end of an outtake video after the relevant person a mishap. Appending Schmidt's video to other outtakes and viral videos became popular, where ( to German in about ' Send him home, Keyboard Cat ') appeared in these videos is usually the statement Play Him Off, Keyboard Cat or variants thereof. "Keyboard Cat" was ranked # 2 on Current TV 's "List of 50 Greatest Viral Videos" ( List of the greatest viral videos).
