Keynote (presentation software)

Keynote is a program from Apple for the operating systems Mac OS X and iOS. It is similar to Microsoft PowerPoint or Impress the company ( from Apache OpenOffice and LibreOffice ) for creating presentations. On the Mac, it is available in the Mac App Store. In October 2013, the current Mac version, Keynote 6.0 was presented at the Keynote under the motto "We shut have a lot to cover. ". Since 2010 it is touch available for the iPad and since 2011 also for iPhone and iPod.

The name of the program goes back to the concept of Keynote, which usually refers to the opening speech of the event.
