Keyworth is a place and civil parish in the district of Rushcliffe, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom, about 11 km southeast of Nottingham. The civil parish had 2001 6.920 inhabitants in the census year. Partner community Keyworths is September 25, 1977, the commune in the Nord Feignies.

History

Keyworth was ( Domesday Book ) mentioned in 1086 as Cauord in the English Doomsday Book first. Roman archaeological finds, however, indicate that colonization lot goes further back.

The parish church of St Mary Magdalene dates back to the 14th century.

Keyworth is between the English A- roads A60 ( Loughborough Doncaster) and A606 ( Stamford West Bridgford ). In the near Nottingham is a bus.
