Keziah

Kezia (variants: Cassia, Ketziah, Keziah ) is derived from the Hebrew ( קְצִיעָה ) female first name and means: lovely scent or Zimtblute. This refers to the flower or the fragrance of cassia, which was planted as a spice bush in Israel, but it is not a real Kassie. The name is found in the Bible. Kezia was the second of the three daughters of Job, which was given to him after the restoration of his health and his family (Job 42,14 EU). She was known for her beauty and her mind.

The Kassie is a legume, which, so around the entire globe is widespread tropical and subtropical pantropisch.

The name was popular in Victorian England, where it is again today rare, it is no longer gender-specific needed today, compare Keziah Jones, and Keziah Dane ( 1967) by Sue Grafton literary.
