KF Besiana

The KF Besiana ( Klubi Futbollistik Besiana ) is a football club based in Podujeva, Kosovo. The club was founded in 1984 and played until the 2008/09 season in the top division of Kosovo, the Raiffeisen Superliga. During the 2010/11 season they withdrew from the second-class league e Pare and thus plays since 2011/12 only mediocre in the league e Dyte.

History

The team celebrated the 2001/ 02 the only league title in the club's history.

In the 2008 / 09 season, the team could not participate in the League Cup because the club plays in the stadium of KF Llapi and no grass was available. A new stadium is being planned.

There is a Fanfreundschaft intermediate KF Besiana and the Turkish club Fenerbahce.
