Khalfan Ibrahim

Khalfan Ibrahim Khalfan Al Khalfan (Arabic خلفان إبراهيم خلفان آل خلفان, DMG Halfan Ibrahim Halfan Āl Halfan; born February 18, 1988 in Doha) is a Qatari footballer. He plays the position of striker.

Playing career

He began his professional career in 2003 in his home town of Al -Sadd, with whom he 2004, 2006 and 2007, won the championship of the Qatar Stars League. This Khalfan Ibrahim took several times in the AFC Champions League, but Al -Sadd failed every time early. In 2006 he was elected by the Asian Football Confederation to Asian Player of the Year. He is the first player from Qatar, which has been announced with this award.
