Khalid Askri

Khalid Askri ( born March 20, 1981 in Rabat ) is a Moroccan football goalkeeper.

Askri played in his youth for FAR Rabat. From there he managed the leap into the professional squad. He graduated from 1998 to 2010 199 league games. In his last season Askri gained notoriety after he had given a penalty kick, the ball rolled into the goal but due Askris carelessness. His team retired out out of the Cup.

A few weeks later he lost the ball after a pass back and again conceded a goal. After this action, he moved from the match against KAC Kenitra himself and went into the cabin.

In 2011 he was engaged by Chabab Rif Al Hoceima and was first-choice goalkeeper. Due to its good performance in 2012, he moved to the Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca with which he moved into the final of the FIFA Club World Cup in 2013 and finished second.

National

For the African Nations Cup in 2013, he was first appointed to the national team of Morocco.
