Kham Ta Kla District

Amphoe Kham Ta Kla ( Thai: อำเภอ คำตากล้า ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) of the province of Sakon Nakhon. The Sakon Nakhon Province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Neighboring districts ( from the southeast clockwise): Amphoe Akat the Amnuai, Wanon Niwat and Ban Muang Sakon Nakhon Province and Amphoe Phon Charoen and Seka Nong Khai province.

History

Kham Ta Kla The county was on 15 September 1976 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the three tambon Kham Ta Kla, Nong Bua Sim and Na Tae were separated from Amphoe Wanon Niwat. On 13 July 1981 he was given the full Amphoe status.

Administrative units

The circle is divided into four subdistricts (tambon ), which are further subdivided into 57 villages ( Muban ).

Kham Ta Kla itself ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล คำตากล้า ) has a small-town status ( thesaban tambon) and covers parts of the tambon Kham Ta Kla.

There are also four " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
