Khanegah tomb

The so-called grave complex of Xanəgah is a small mausoleum - Chanegah complex in Nakhchivan. It stands on the banks of the river near the village of Alindscha Xanəgah and probably served a Sufi Sheikh - perhaps Faslullah Naimi Täbrisi - as a final resting place.

The at least in part by a Khoja named Jamaluddin built ( according to an inscription ) system consists of a well into the 12th or 13th century, predating the main building and a cube-shaped building from the 15th century. The mausoleum was built in the style of Nachitschewaner school built of light brick, has a square plan and goes up initially in an octagon, then a sixteen- over and is finally crowned by a dome.

On the ground floor there is a prayer niche, which is decorated with arabesques and floral motifs, including lies the grave chamber. In decor with turquoise tiles and patterns, the building resembles the Momine - Khatun Mausoleum.
