Khashuri Municipality

Municipality Chaschuri (Georgian ხაშურის მუნიციპალიტეტი ) is a municipality ( county ) in Georgia, in the region of Inner Kartli. The administrative center of the municipality is the city Chaschuri Chaschuri. The area is 585.2 km ². The municipality has 61,800 inhabitants.

In the east and north it was from the municipality Kareli, in the north of the municipality Sachkhere, bounded on the south and west by the municipality Borjomi and to the west by the municipality Kharagauli.

In the municipality Chaschuri of major attractions. In Georgia are particularly aware of the fortress Surami and Zromi Church.
