Khawr al Udayd

The Khor al - Udaid (Arabic خور العديد, DMG Haur al - ʿ Udaid; Khawr al also Udayd ) is a backwater of the Persian Gulf. The lake is located in the southeast of Qatar on the border with Saudi Arabia.

Because of its remarkable and unrivaled combination of geological and geomorphological characteristics, the nature reserve Khor al - Udaid 2008 was placed on the Tentative List of UNESCO.
