Chertek Antschimaa came from a destitute Tuvan family. After having studied at the Communist University for Workers of the East in Moscow, she worked from 1935 in the Propaganda Department of the Tuvan youth organization Rewsomol. In 1938, she was Director of the Women's Division of the People's Revolutionary Party of Tuva. From 1940 to 1944 she held the position of Chairman of the Tuvan Parliament ( Little Khural ) in the function of head of state. After the accession of Tuva with the Soviet Union on 11 October 1944, she held several regional offices until her retirement in 1972.

1940 married Chertek Antschimaa the Secretary-General of the People's Revolutionary Party of Tuva and the actual ruler Saltschak Toka, but retained her family name at. Only after the death of her husband in 1973, she was called Antschimaa - Toka. Chertek Antschimaa had two sons and a daughter.
