Chimik Woskressensk (Russian Химик Воскресенск ) is a Russian ice hockey club from Woskressensk. The team played for many years in the highest Soviet and Russian league and bear its home games in the 4,500 -seat LDS Podmoskowje. The club colors are blue and yellow.

History

The club was founded in 1953 played - with one exception from 1955 to 1957 - to 2005 under the founding names in Woskressensk before the team moved to Mytischtschi and renamed in Moskovskaya Oblast Chimik. The site in Woskressensk remained exist where the team continued to play as Chimik in Wysschaja league and should act as a farm team. Moskovskaya Oblast Chimik however, competed in the Super League.

In the years 1990 and 1991 Chimik participated in the Super Series compare with the National Hockey League. Of the six games in 1990 were three games won and lost, as in 1991. Previously the team had already been active internationally in 1984 when Spengler Cup, but reached after only one win in four games, the fourth and last place.

In the Wysschaja League Chimik succeeded in the 2007/ 08 season winning the league title after being in the playoff final against Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg had been able to prevail. Initially, only two teams from the second division of the economic rise in the newly formed Continental Hockey League was made possible while Woskressensk was initially not considered as athletic climber with Awtomobilist and Barys Astana, however. On 15 July 2008, the league management of the KHL announced that Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg was expelled from the League due to ongoing financial problems. Chimik was then given as the reigning champion permission to climb in the KHL. In the summer of 2009, the team from the KHL was excluded as always still outstanding salary payments. In July 2009, the club filed for bankruptcy, in which an attempt was made to outsource the youth department and get it. In the 2009/10 season the club took part in the operation of the game Wysschaja league, but received no license for the season 2010/11. The club disbanded the men's team and participates with a young team as the MIC Chimik at the Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja league.
