Khitan scripts

The Khitan script was a writing system that was invented in the 10th century in what is now Manchuria by the Khitan. It consisted of the Great Khitan script and the Small Khitan script, which were functionally independent. While the former have been derived from Chinese characters, the latter were an independent invention. Both fonts are still poorly deciphered.
