Khizi District
Xizi is a rayon in the north of Azerbaijan. The capital of the district is the city xizi.
Geography
The district has an area of 1,711 km ². The rayon is bounded on the west by the Caspian Sea, to the south is the Apsheron Peninsula.
Population
In Rayon lived 2009 14.700 people. This spread over 29 settlements.
Economy
The region is dominated by agriculture, it is mainly stockbreeding. There is a hydroelectric power plant.
