KHL Junior Draft
The KHL Junior Draft is an event of the Kontinental Hockey League, in which the teams according to the U.S. model, acquire the rights to available amateur and youth players ( convened to draft =, move ) can.
The order of the draft equivalent to the inverse table of the preseason. Newly recorded in the league teams are allowed to select last. A total of four rounds were held at the first event in 2009. The participating teams may choose any player aged 17 and 21, which were not protected at the time of the event or of other teams were already in another KHL team under contract. Graduates of schools that cooperate with any KHL team may also be selected as graduates of schools that cooperate with a KHL team, but are not part of a junior team of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation. The remaining teams may "protect" 15 players, which thus can not be selected in the draft.
