Khlong Thom District

Khlong Thom ( Thai: คลองท่อม ) is a district ( Amphoe ) of the province ( Changwat ) Krabi in southern Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts (from west clockwise): the Amphoe Ko Lanta, Nuea Khlong Khao Phanom and Lam Thap, Krabi and Amphoe Wang Wiset and Sikao Trang province. After Sürwesten lies the Andaman Sea.

Management

Amphoe Khlong Thom is divided into five subdistricts ( tambon), which continued in 65 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

There are two small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Khlong Thom Tai consists of parts of the tambon Khlong Thom Tai,
  • Khlong Phon covers parts of tambon Khlong Phon.

There are also three " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
