Kho Wang District

Amphoe Kho Wang ( in Thai อำเภอ ค้อวัง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the province of Yasothon. The Yasothon Province is located in the eastern part of northeast Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Amphoe Kho Wang borders the following districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Maha Chana Chai to in the province of Yasothon, Amphoe Khueang at Nai Ubon Ratchathani province, and to the Amphoe Yang Chum Noi and Rasi Salai Province Sisaket.

Management

Amphoe Kho Wang is divided into four communities ( tambon), which in turn in 45 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

There is a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

• Kho Wang ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ค้อวัง ), consisting of parts of the tambon Kho Wang.

There are also four " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
