Khok Sung District
Amphoe Khok Sung ( Thai: อำเภอ โคก สูง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the eastern province of Sa Kaeo. The Sa Kaeo province is located in the eastern region of Thailand at the border to Cambodia.
Geography
Amphoe Khok Sung is by following Amphoe limited (as seen from the south clockwise from ): Amphoe Aranyaprathet which, Watthana Nakhon and Ta Phraya of Sa Kaeo province. In the east, the province of Banteay Meanchey Cambodia is.
History
Khok Sung was born on 15 July 1996, first as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by it was separated from Amphoe Ta Phraya.
On 15 May 2007, the Thai government had decided that all 81 King Amphoe to rise in the simple Amphoe status to unify the administration. With the publication in the Royal Gazette " Issue 124 chapter 46" of 24 August 2007, this decision officially entered into force.

Management
Amphoe Khok Sung ( tambon) divided into four municipalities, which continue in 38 villages ( Muban ) are divided.
There are also four " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
