Khufukhaf I

Chaefchufu (also Chufuchaef read, actually Cha -ef - Khufu ) is the name of an ancient Egyptian prince, who son of King (Pharaoh) Khufu in the 4th Dynasty was during the Old Kingdom. His mother was Queen Henutsen. Some Egyptologists suspect that if he was not identical with King Khafre: he might have changed his name from " Cha -ef - Khufu " in " Cha -ef - Rê " after he ascended the throne. This theory is controversial. Chaefchufu contributed among others the title " Head of the western desert " ( Imi -ra- SEMAT Imentet ).

Chaefchufu was buried in the Doppelmastaba G 7130-7140 in the Pyramidennekropole of Cheops in Giza. While grave G 7130 his wife Neferet -cow belonged, he had even the grave G 7140th
