Khutsuri

Chutsuri or Khutsuri or Chuzuri (Georgian: ხუცური, " church font ") is an old Georgian writing system. It combines the Alphabets Assomtawruli ( for uppercase) and Nuschuri or Nuskhuri ( for lowercase letters ). It was used from the 9th century, mainly for religious texts and was in use until the 11th century, where it was replaced by the Mchedruli font. The use in the religious sphere lasted until the 18th century.

Only recently have religious literature in Chutsuri is printed in Georgia again.
