Khwaja Abdullah Ansari

ʿ Abd Allāh ibn Muhammad al- Ansari (Arabic: عبد الله بن محمد الانصاري ), also known as Pīr -e Herat ( " Pīr of Herat " ), ( * 1006 in Herat, † 1088 in Herat ) was a Sufi scholar and Koranexeget the Hanbali teaching direction. He wrote his works partly in Arabic and partly in Persian.

His grave in Herat, the second largest city of Afghanistan, one of the major pilgrim centers, which are visited annually by thousands of pilgrims and Sufianhängern.
